Feeling Lost??? Don't know your next step? GOD has direction for you
If you're like me, then you never know what to do, what direction to go. I've always had a problem making decisions. Having to make quick decisions caused me major heartache and great anxiety, let alone important decisions. I would rationalize and analyze and count and recount the millions of reasons why I should or shouldn't do something. And still after all this be confused as to the step I should take. My anxiety never went away until I understood that my life doesn't belong to me and that every decision I need to make must first be brought to my heavenly Father.
I challenge you to open His word everyday and prove Him.
My sisters, there's no need to be anxious or stressed out about your future, when you know your future is in the hands of the one who created it. God says that He has given us everything we need for this life. In 2 Peter 1:3 He says, According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue. That word pertain has to do with what applies to or what is applicable, what is appropriate, related to or pertinent to our life. Not just our life but to godliness as well. So whatever our God-given purpose in this life, God has already given us everything that is relevant and important to live it. God says, anything that has to do with you; with your life, I have enabled you to accomplish. You have everything you need to make it in this life. Not only to make it, but most importantly to do so in a Godly way. That right there is very powerful.
Be humble and patient before your Father. If you're the one not paying attention it's time to wake up and pay attention. If you're just unsure about that next step, give it time and stay in God's word. He always has a plan. He may be protecting you from something. He may just want you to wait a little bit longer so you can maximize your blessings. Whatever the case, God's got this and He's got you. Blessings!

You see, God sees what we don't see. His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours and like good God fearing parents, He can foresee things we will never be able to and reroute us or give us an alternative that's a lot better; although me may not see it immediately.
We may find we don't know the direction to go because we have so many options. Well, if we should take a closer look and be honest with ourselves, some of those options are ungodly. What I mean is, we aren't driven by a pure motive or we aren't thinking of God's glory but our own. We sometimes blind ourselves to the truth because we are looking to gain the favor and love of man. We want to be thought of in a certain way, all in the name of gaining status among people with whom we would otherwise not associate. We apply for a particular job and/or to a particular school for example, to impress people who don't care anything about us underneath the surface.
On the other hand, we may have some viable options that truly leave us confused and frustrated. They all seem like good options. Then again, for whom are they good? Is it about the money? Are you being pressured by friends and family to do something that, although "good" isn't in your heart? Trying to please everyone but God and yourself? You alone know the answer to these questions.
God has promised to tell you exactly where to go and what to do? I can hear someone saying, Yea oh ookk. Reaally?
Yes reaally!
Look it's right here in Isaiah 30:21KJV And thine ears will hear a word behind thee saying, This is the way; walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left. Last time I checked God is incapable of lying. So if He says He will TELL you where to go and what to do He means exactly that! That's exciting for me. That means I don't have to worry about what to do anymore because God will tell me. You know how He does that? Through His word. See, He reveals our hearts to us when we get humble before Him and meditate on His word. And when He does there is no denying it because we already know He knows our heart anyway. We have to get into His word everyday. That's where instruction comes from for living.
You know that thing you've been thinking about doing or that place you were thinking about going? You open God's word and BAM! You're sidelined. LOL Yes it's happened to me many times. Uh Huh. You thought God wasn't paying attention or that he was sleeping. We're the ones who are asleep. We're the ones not paying attention. We do that when we refuse to open His word, or listen to godly counsel from those godly people God put in our lives. Mostly we just refuse to go to our Father because we probably already know what He will say to us.
